Disney’s Swan and Dolphin Resort has announced a new food and wine event billed as Sip, Savor, and Stay Saturdays. The event will kick off this September and last for a little over a month. So if you haven’t made your fall 2020 Disney World reservations yet, then you might want to consider a dine and stay package at the Swan and Dolphin! What are Sip, Savor, and Stay Saturdays?
Disney World is known for its food events, and this brand new series looks promising.
Sip, Savor and Stay is an event series at Disney’s Swan and Dolphin Resorts. It replaces the annual Food & Wine Classic and each night of the event will feature a different theme and a pairing of signature eats and drinks from the menu of the Swan and Dolphin. Sip, Savor and Stay Saturdays will take place every Saturday from September 19 through October 24, and is held from 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM.
The theme for the first event will be the “Bubbles Lounge” and will include small bites and sparkling beverages (like champagne). Other events include a barbecue, Oktoberfest, and more.
Here is the schedule and dates for the Sip, Savor and Stay Saturday dining events:
- September 19: Bubble Lounge
Guests will enjoy bubbling beverages paired with small bites!
- September 26: Beer Garden
Your favorite pub foods will be served w/ lagers, ales, and pilsners.
- October 3: Italian Wines & Bites
Enjoy tasty bites along with wines from across Italy
- October 10: Smokin’ D’s Bourbon, Beer, & BBQ
Hand-crafted barbecue favorites are served with bourbon and beer samplings
- October 17: Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Food & Wine Classic: Limited Edition
This “VIP quality event” promises a more intimate and scaled-down version of the Food and Wine Classic.
- October 24: Oktoberfest Biergarten
This rollicking German-themed celebration will feature food, music, and lots of beer!
About the Sip, Savor and Stay Saturday Events
These events are held indoors and operate in a limited capacity. The events are restricted to guests over the age of 21.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, social distancing measures and food delivery procedures will be in place. Parties will be provided with touchless menus and tables will be spaced out to allow for social distancing. There will be temperature checks upon arrival, plexiglass protection at serving stations, and Cast Members will be wearing PPE for extra safety.
How much does Sip, Savor and Stay Saturdays cost?
Sip, Savor and Stay Saturdays are available to Swan and Dolphin hotel guests who have booked a Sip, Savor and Stay Saturdays overnight package. Hotel guests without the dining pack will still be able to purchase food from the specialty-themed pop-up food truck on the premises each Saturday.
Overnight packages for these events start at $295. This price includes TWO adult tickets for the event.
Overnight packages for the October 17th Food and Wine Classic event begin at $395. This price includes TWO adult tickets. Also, note that “Limited Edition” will run 30 minutes longer than the other events (5:30 PM through 8 PM).
Sip, Savor and Stay events are limited to 100 guests. The exception is for the Food and Wine Classic Limited Edition, which is limited to 200 guests.
The Swan and Dolphin resorts are within walking distance to EPCOT, where the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival is also taking place.
