Day 1 – Cairns

On the first day of your Adventures by Disney vacation, you’ll arrive at Cairns Airport, where an Adventures by Disney Adventure Guide will greet you. They’ll help you with your luggage and escort you to your hotel in a private vehicle. You’ll stay at the Crystalbrook Flynn Resort, a luxurious 5-star resort with a pool, gym, spa, and more.

After check-in, take some time to explore the resort and get settled into your room. Then, meet up with your Adventure Guide and fellow travelers for a special welcome reception at Hartley’s Crocodile Adventure. You’ll meet crocodiles, experience local wildlife, and enjoy an exclusive Australian dinner. Day 2 – Greater Barrier Reef and Cairns

Adventures by Disney offers a fantastic Day 2 itinerary that will let you explore the Great Barrier Reef in style. Breakfast will be served at the resort, and then you’ll board a floating pontoon to sail to the Coral Sea and the Great Barrier Reef. A marine biologist guides you as you explore this amazing natural wonder.

You will have the opportunity to snorkel around its outer reef to see the coral reefs up close. You can also cruise several feet underwater on a semi-submersible submarine if you want to observe the reef and its inhabitants (but don’t want to get wet).

Day 3 – Cairns

Today is day three of your Adventures by Disney guided tour, and you’re going to have a busy day exploring everything Australia offers.

You’ll start the day with a delicious breakfast before heading off to discover the history of the world’s oldest living culture. In a park celebrating Aboriginal traditions, you’ll hear from the local Djabugays, the ancestral inhabitants of the forest surrounding Kuranda.

During this tour, you’ll be able to experience Aboriginal culture firsthand through songs, dances, stories, artwork, and artifacts, as well as participating in interactive activities. Your understanding and appreciation of Australia’s rich history and culture will be enhanced by the end of the day.

After a morning of exploring the mountain village of Kuranda, guests will board the Skyrail for a journey across the tropical rainforest canopy. Day 5 – Melbourne

On day five of the Adventures by Disney tour, you’ll start your day with breakfast at the hotel before heading to Eureka Skydeck. You’ll take the fastest elevator in the Southern Hemisphere up 935 feet, where you’ll be awed by the 365-degree view (it’s the highest viewing platform in the Southern Hemisphere). You’ll also get exclusive early access to The Edge and experience the VR Plank for thrilling views.

Your local guide will show you some of the best graffiti art in Melbourne as you go on a walking tour. You’ll visit Brunetti’s Italian pastries, coffee, and chocolate, Federation Square, and Flinders Street Station.

Lunch is served at Pastuso, where you can experience Peruvian food in a graffiti-inspired atmosphere. After lunch, go kayaking on the Yarra River for a relaxing afternoon with fantastic city views.

Day 6 – Melbourne

On Day 6 of the Adventures by Disney trip, guests will enjoy a delicious breakfast at the hotel before heading out for a day of fun. The first stop is Puffing Billy Steam Railway, where guests can ride a vintage locomotive train through the stunning Dandenong Ranges. The journey takes about 40 minutes and provides incredible views along the way. Guests also have the opportunity to speak with the engineers during the trip.

Afterward, it’s time for lunch at Dominique Portet Winery. During the tour and tasting, guests will learn about this family-owned winery and its specialty Bordeaux-style wines. You will then enjoy a delicious bistro-style meal made with locally grown ingredients.

The next stop on the itinerary is Healesville Sanctuary, a park dedicated to animal conservation. DAY 8 – Sydney and Southern Highlands

Then it’s time to get active with a canoe trip on the Wingecarribee River. It’s the perfect way to relax and take in the peaceful surroundings.

After all that fresh air, you’ll be ready for lunch. Explore a family-owned and operated farm where you can learn about organic produce and sustainable farming, followed by a delicious lunch with ingredients grown straight from the farm.
