How much does a ride between Orlando International Airport and Disney World cost with the Uber app?
Let’s say you are staying at one of Disney World’s fantastic hotel resorts. According to Google Maps, the ride between Orlando International Airport and Disney Springs at Walt Disney World is 17.6 miles via FL-528. That equates to about 25 minutes of driving time without traffic.
Uber’s price estimator shows that the least expensive Uber option is Green (their eco-friendly EV option), followed by the standard UberX. You can also opt for a larger or fancier vehicle – or one for pets or equipped with car seats – but specialty Ubers cost more than your standard UberX.
So, how much does it cost to travel from Orlando Airport to Walt Disney World? For instance, we selected a central location, Disney Springs. According to Uber’s own route data, the average fare to Disney Springs is around $39 for an UberX, with the ride taking about 28 minutes. Fares run higher to resorts farther from the airport – for example, around $50 to the Grand Floridian or $48 to the Polynesian. However, your fare might vary depending on your vehicle type and which nearby hotel you are dropped off at.
The fares listed below are based on the type of car you choose. These current (2026) rates are subject to change. I encourage you to use the Uber price estimator to find the most up-to-date pricing.

Please note that Uber uses a pricing model it calls “dynamic pricing,” also known as surge pricing. This simply means that fares are subject to increase when demand is higher. In other words, normal Uber fares increase during peak hours.
There’s really no way to know when dynamic pricing will kick in, but we have some guesses: during school vacation weeks, holidays, weekends, special events, or just around the morning rush to the theme parks. Where to Meet Your Uber Driver at MCO
Rideshare pickups at MCO are different from the usual arrivals curb, as Uber and Lyft have designated zones.
For Terminals A and B, follow signs for “Rideshare” or “TNC” after baggage claim. At Terminal C, rideshare pickup occurs on Level 6 (Arrivals), and the app will direct you to the specific door once your driver is assigned.
It’s best to request your ride only after collecting your luggage, since MCO drivers wait in a remote lot and are dispatched upon request, so early requests are unnecessary.

Drivers use their own vehicle (UberX) and are required to keep it clean and in good working order.
As they pick you up, it will be just you, your travel companions, and the Uber driver for the duration of the ride. It’s really easy to use, and it WILL save you time and money.
Magical Express Was Discontinued in 2022
In previous years, guests relied on the Magical Express shuttle service to get to their Disney hotel. Unfortunately, Magical Express was discontinued in January 2022. Even though Orlando International is still the closest airport to Disney World, Guests must now use alternative transportation between Orlando International Airport and the Walt Disney World Resort.
You could rent a car or hail a taxi, but those options will be much more expensive. Ubers are significantly cheaper than taxis and much more practical than renting an entire car. You won’t need to pay for hotel or theme park parking fees, and you really don’t need a rental car because Disney Transportation is free and readily available throughout the park.
For all these reasons, we think Uber is the best way to travel between Orlando International Airport and Walt Disney World.
