We have some great news for you early birds. Guests are now allowed to book their Disney resort reservations for all of 2021. This includes the 2021 holiday season AND the highly anticipated 50th-anniversary celebration.
Up until this announcement, we could only make our reservations through September 26, 2021. Now reservations can be made through December 31, 2021.
2021: An Exciting Year Ahead at Walt Disney World
In case you didn’t already know, Walt Disney World Resort will celebrate its 50th anniversary on October 1, 2021. What an impact Disney World has had on our society over the last 50 years!
There will be lots of exciting events to celebrate this moment in Disney World history. I’m guessing that Magic Kingdom will be the place to be.
Reservations on and around October 1st WILL fill up quickly. This is especially the case since the parks will not be operating at full capacity (because of the ongoing pandemic). I hope I’m wrong on this but Disney has already indicated that 2021 won’t be “business as usual” quite yet.
So if you’re planning to be at Disney for its 50th anniversary, then I’d highly recommend booking as soon as possible.
Plan Ahead and Book Now
Both resort availability and park tickets via the Disney Park Pass selection will decrease as the date approaches. As the saying goes, the early bird catches the worm, so NOW is the time to plan ahead and make reservations before it’s too late.
There really haven’t been many details of the 50th-anniversary celebration as of yet. However, we have reason to believe 2021 will be an exciting year.
Besides the 50th anniversary celebration, we are likely to see the opening of TRON Lightcycle Power Run (Magic Kingdom), Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure (Epcot), and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind (Epcot).
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort will be completed, and Guests will continue to flock to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge (Hollywood Studios) and Pandora – The World of Avatar (Animal Kingdom).
We all hope things begin to return to normal at Disney World as we put the pandemic in the rearview mirror (fingers crossed). Regardless, 2021 is shaping up to be an exciting year at Disney World and now you can book your reservations through the end of 2021. Don’t delay!
