Guide to Eating at Disney World’s Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser
Walt Disney World’s Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser offers a first-of-its-kind experience — a 2-night cruise on a starship! While you’re on board, what will you eat? In this guide, you’ll find everything you need to know about the food at the Disney Star Wars hotel, so get ready for some out-of-this-world cuisine.
About Disney’s Star Wars Hotel
In the storyline of the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser hotel experience, guests are taken on a journey through the galaxy aboard the luxurious cruise ship Halcyon. Over the course of two days and two nights, participants will interact with characters, fight (or assist) the First Order, train with lightsabers, and learn how to fly the ship while being part of an exciting storyline.
The hotel experience also includes visiting Walt Disney World’s Hollywood Studios, where guests can explore the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge land.
This truly immersive experience will make you feel like you’re living in the Star Wars universe. Whether you’re a diehard Star Wars fan or just looking for a unique vacation experience, the Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser hotel at Walt Disney World will surely be a luxury vacation experience you’ll never forget.
Now, let’s talk about the food!
Is Food Included in the Cost of a Disney Star Wars Hotel Stay?
This one-of-a-kind hotel offers guests the chance to experience life onboard a Star Cruiser, complete with immersive encounters with popular Star Wars characters. But what exactly does the cost of a stay at Galactic Starcruiser include?
A stay at Galactic Starcruiser includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and most beverages, in addition to all those activities. There’s no need to worry about paying extra for meals, whether you’re refueling for a day of exploration or winding down after an adventure. If you’re wondering whether the Galactic Starcruiser is worth the cost, knowing your meals are included certainly helps!
Coca-Cola soft drinks are included with your stay (Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, Fanta Orange, etc.), as are juices, coffee, tea, and blue and green milk. However, it is important to note that most alcoholic drinks – and some specialty drinks – are not included in your stay.
What Food and Drink Are Not Included?
While sodas, juices, and colorful milk are included, guests must pay out-of-pocket for most alcoholic and specialty drinks. For example, the Sublight Lounge is a great place to grab a cocktail, but these drinks aren’t free. Likewise, cocktails and specialty drinks are available with your meals, but they are an additional cost.
If you’re interested in fully immersing yourself in the Star Wars experience, be prepared to open your wallet a little wider. You’ll have to pay $7 or $8 extra out-of-pocket for full mocktails and $13 to $23 extra for cocktails, beer, and wine.
There are a few instances where specialty drinks are free, however. On Day 2, you can eat lunch in the hotel dining room OR at Galaxy’s Edge during your Batuu excursion. If you choose the latter, you’ll receive a quick-service dining credit for a restaurant within the park. The quick service meal can include a complimentary alcoholic beverage if you choose.
Mocktails (non-alcoholic specialty drinks) are not free, including those at Sublight Lounge. However, “Cantina Chronicles” offers a free sampling of mocktails as part of the mixology class during Day 2. There is a story behind each drink, so it’s interesting to discover where they come from.
As for food at the Disney Star Wars hotel, it is always readily available and included in the price!
Is There A Restaurant at the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser Hotel?
As part of the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser hotel, guests have exclusive access to the Crown of Corellia Dining Room, where breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served.
The Crown of Corellia Dining Room features a large room with multiple seating levels, where guests can enjoy a delicious meal while surrounded by stunning views of space. The room has chairs and tables, booths along the walls, and long tables accommodating large groups.
The seats and back cushions of the booths and chairs are lined with blue vinyl material. The room lighting is brighter for breakfast and lunch but takes on a darker and more colorful feel for dinner.
There is open seating for breakfast and lunch, so you can choose your own table as you walk in. For dinner, you will be seated by a host when you arrive, and the same server will serve you at both dinners, just like on a cruise. Depending on the table size and crowds, you may have a private table, or multiple parties could be seated together like on a cruise. There is staggered seating for dinner to accommodate all passengers. Dinner is a bit more immersive than breakfast and lunch, so it’s no surprise that some people like to dress in costume to really become part of the show.
In addition to the dining room, The Sublight Lounge serves cocktails, snacks, and small plates in the evening and nighttime. It provides the perfect place to unwind after a long day exploring the galaxy.
The Vacationeer is a premier Disney travel agency that can help you plan and book your stay at the Star Wars hotel.

How is the Food Served: Buffet or Family Style?
Crown of Corellia Dining Room serves buffet-style breakfasts and lunches. Dinners are served family-style on both nights.
The dishes for buffets are small and prepared individually, and the trays hold several dishes simultaneously. Rather than putting a variety of dishes on a single plate, you will add several dishes to your tray as you proceed down the buffet line.
You’ll be assigned a server at dinner and served family-style, with dishes of food brought to your table. On both nights, Crown of Corellia hosts galactic superstar Gaya, who entertains guests all you are enjoying your dinner. When performing, she often wanders through the dining room to interact with guests. It’s like an epic dinner show from a galaxy far, far away.
