Walt Disney World is home to 4 theme parks, 2 water parks, more than 20 hotels, a massive transportation system, and Disney Springs (the shopping, dining, and entertainment district). In other words, Disney World is huge and confusing! It can be a little overwhelming to navigate your way around at first blush. So how do you make sense of this 40+ square mile maze? Your first step should be studying a good Disney World map.
A Disney World map will help you visualize the layout of the park. In addition, Disney World maps of the theme parks, water parks, hotels, and Disney Springs will help you discover some of the park’s most popular features and others you may have otherwise overlooked.

Disney World Resort Map

This Disney World map gives you an overview of the entire park and where the major features are situated. The map includes areas of Disney’s Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Disney Springs, ESPN Wide World of Sports, and the in-park golf courses.
Disney World Transportation Map

This map shows which mode of transportation will connect you to the theme parks, resorts, and Disney Springs. Disney World’s extensive transportation system is a complimentary (free) service. It includes monorails, boats, buses, and the new Disney Skyliner gondola.
Disney Springs Map

Disney Springs is an outdoor dining, shopping, and entertainment complex at the Disney World Resort. Some of the major features include the World of Disney (the world’s largest Disney store) and the AMC Disney Springs 24 dine-in movie theatre, among others.
The complex has four distinct areas: Town Center, The Landing, Marketplace, and West Side.

Magic Kingdom Map
2024 Magic Kingdom Map
The Magic Kingdom Map details the different lands within the park, as well as the locations of attractions, restrooms, food and beverage locations, and other points of interest. Some of the lands within Magic Kingdom include:
Main Street, U.S.A.: Main Street is inspired by turn-of-the-century small towns and features shopping, dining, and entertainment.
Adventureland: This land is themed around exotic locales and features attractions inspired by adventure and exploration, such as Pirates of the Caribbean and the Jungle Cruise.
Frontierland: This land is themed around the American Old West and features rides such as Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. It’s also home to Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.
Liberty Square: This land is themed around the colonial period of American history and features the Haunted Mansion attraction.
Tomorrowland: This land is themed around the future and features attractions such as Space Mountain and the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover.
There are also several other lands within Magic Kingdom, including Fantasyland, which is themed around classic Disney stories and features rides such as the Mad Tea Party, It’s a Small World, and Mickey’s Toontown Fair, which is a land featuring meet-and-greets with Disney characters when you visit Magic Kingdom.
Epcot Map

Epcot opened in 1982 as the second of four theme parks at Walt Disney World. It’s more than twice the size of Magic Kingdom, so there is a little more room to breathe here.
It is divided into 4 major areas: World Celebration, World Discovery, World Nature, and World Showcase. The park is often referred to as a “permanent world’s fair” because it celebrates the diversity of the World’s culture, technological innovations that have influenced our societies, and our interaction with the natural forces that drive our planet. Epcot’s neighborhoods and attractions like The Seas with Nemo & Friends each reflect these major themes.
Hollywood Studios Map

Hollywood Studios opened in 1989 (originally called Disney-MGM Studios) as the third of four theme parks at Disney World. The park is dedicated to the television, film, theatre, and music industries and is inspired by Hollywood’s Golden Age.
Hollywood Studios is divided into lands: Hollywood Boulevard, Sunset Boulevard, Echo Lake, Grand Avenue, Animation Courtyard, Toy Story Land, and the new Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
Animal Kingdom Map

Disney’s Animal Kingdom opened in 1998 and is the second-largest theme park in the world (403 acres). The park is unique because, while it features traditional attractions, it also showcases hundreds of species of live animals. Its areas include Oasis, Discovery Island, Pandora, Africa, Asia, DinoLand U.S.A, and Rafiki’s Planet Watch.

Disney World has 3 tiers of resort hotels, and these categories are based on price and amenities. The 3 tiers are Disney Value Resorts, Disney Moderate Resorts, and Disney Deluxe Resorts.
Let’s compare the Disney World resort hotels. The major differentiator of Value Resorts is that they’re the least expensive tier of in-park hotels. There are currently 5 distinct resorts to choose from. All are family-friendly, and the 3 All-Star resorts are typically the least expensive hotels at WDW.

Disney Moderate Resorts are the mid-tier category of in-park hotels. They tend to have larger rooms, better transportation options, more on-property restaurants, and more pools than Disney Value Resorts. However, they are more expensive.

Disney Deluxe Resorts are the most expensive tier of in-park hotels. However, with the higher cost comes larger rooms, excellent transportation, fine dining options, and nicer rooms and amenities.
