Walt Disney World has cemented its reputation as one of the most visited destinations in the United States, and for good reason. Their attractions appeal to all ages, and their safe, well-maintained theme parks can transport you to a different dimension.

If you’re planning a family getaway, you should consider booking a Disney Cruise or escaping to Disney World. This article will run through the ticket prices for the various parks and activities Disney World has to offer.

Walt Disney World Ticket Prices 2024-2025

Guests ages ten and up can currently get a standard Disney World ticket for as low as $109 in 2024 and $119 in 2025; Disney World tickets for guests age three to nine are slightly cheaper. Prices will vary widely depending on the date of the visit and the theme park chosen. You’ll also pay 6.5% sales tax. Adding options like Park Hopper, Memory Maker, or Water Park and Sports can also increase ticket prices. Guests under three years old aren’t required to get a ticket.

If you are planning multiple days in the parks, make sure to compare prices for purchasing your admission as a multi-day ticket rather than buying a one-day ticket each time you go to the park — you’ll often save on the cost per day if you purchase this way.  Purchasing a ten-day ticket may give you as much as a 50% discount versus ten one-day tickets!

It’s worth noting that Disney World ticket prices fluctuate daily and depending on which park you visit. During the summer or on holidays, even standard tickets can cost from $134 to $189 depending on park and date. Aside from the tickets, guests are also required to make a reservation through the Disney Park Pass as a way to reduce crowds and better estimate attendance and staffing.

If you’re ready to spend a bit more for a bigger experience, you can also consider an all-inclusive Disney vacation.

Disney World Ticket Upgrades and Add-Ons

When you purchase your ticket, Disney offers many additional options that can enrich your Disney experience.

Park Hopper Option

The most popular add-on for Disney World Tickets is Park Hopper. This allows you to visit more than one theme park on the same day without needing a Park Pass reservation for multiple parks–you simply need to visit your initial park first and wait until 2:00 PM before you can begin park hopping. The total pre-tax cost of a one-day ticket with Park Hopper is usually between $184 and $204 (2024 pricing), depending on date.

Park Hopper Plus Option (includes Water Parks and Sports)

The Park Hopper Plus option adds not only park hopping but also various Water Park and Sports entitlements in your ticket. Aside from entry to Disney World’s four theme parks, you can also access one of the Disney properties or activities below:

  • Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park
  • Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park
  • Disney’s Oak Trail Golf Course—FootGolf
  • Disney’s Oak Trail Golf Course
  • Disney’s Winter Summerland Miniature Golf Course
  • Disney’s Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course
  • ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex

This allows diverse, full days, such as spending the morning in Animal Kingdom, playing a round of golf late in the afternoon, and capping it all off with fireworks at EPCOT. The number of visits you can make to these extra locations varies depending on the length of your ticket. The total pre-tax cost of a one-day ticket with Park Hopper Plus is usually between $252 and $272, depending on date.

Water Park and Sports Option

If you like the additional venues offered by Park Hopper Plus but you don’t actually want to park hop, consider the Water Park and Sports Option. It still provides multiple visits to places like Typhoon Lagoon or Fantasia Gardens, but it limits you to a single theme park per day. It’s a bit cheaper than Park Hopper Plus, but is available for multi-day tickets only.

Disney World After Hours Events

You can also enjoy special parties at Disney World – these fun-filled events provide guests with a spectacular experience within the parks long after normal operating hours. Guests can access certain attractions with shorter queues, and enjoy exclusive parades, stage shows, and fireworks displays. The two most popular events of this type are the Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.

Ticket prices vary greatly depending on the type of event and the date you wish to attend, but you can often save a bit if you’re an Annual Pass holder or a Disney Vacation Club member.
