People are often confused about where Harry Potter land is located.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is located at Universal Orlando Resort and spans over two theme parks, Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure. There are no Harry Potter-themed areas or attractions at Walt Disney World Resort.

Let’s take a closer look at where you can find Harry Potter attractions in Orlando.

How to Get to The Wizarding World Harry Potter

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is one of Orlando’s biggest draws, but don’t head to Disney World to find it.

Universal Studios Florida’s Harry Potter land is a re-creation of Diagon Alley. Universal’s Islands of Adventure’s area is a re-creation of Hogsmeade.

How to Buy Tickets for Harry Potter World

Hogwarts Express

If you purchase a single park ticket, you’ll only be allowed to experience The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at that particular park.

What if you wish to explore both (all) sections of Harry Potter on the same day? In this case, you’ll need a Park-to-Park Access ticket.  Park-to-Park Access is slightly more expensive than single park tickets but it gives you access to the Hogwarts Express,  a train ride that brings guests between both lands of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
